9:00-9:45 UX One….What’s in it for ME?
Never before has a JD Edwards user had so much power and ease of use to personalize their experience. With a focus on personalization, users can now address their specific needs of the software using JD Edwards UX One components, rather than relying on customizations. This is important because customizations get in the way of taking ESUs and upgrades and become barriers to staying code current.
Let’s level set: UX One components are web objects users create using the EnterpriseOne web interface. They can create them for their own use, view ones that other employees have created, or share theirs so that others can view and use them.
There are two important things about leveraging UX One components: (1) understanding what they are and how to create and manage them and (2) understanding the types of problems they address and that’s precisely what we will be covering in this session.
9:45-10:15 Creative Payment Solutions for JD Edwards Projects
Lee Bank, Sales Director; Oracle JD Edwards
Projects need to be completed, new initiatives need to be engaged, automation will save the company tens of thousands of dollars, but costs of legacy/in-place solutions don’t just terminate all at once, allowing spend and resources to be fully allocated to new projects. In many cases, there’s also the CapEx vs. OpEx consideration (Is there a JDE OpEx solution? Can a cloud solution use CapEx treatment?). Oracle has created payment solution initiatives that help their customers move forward on much needed solutions while deferring costs over a multi-year term. Learn how creative payment solutions can promote growth and technology advances within your organization.
